" A very nice hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. A lot of rooms and visitors, but didn't feel crowded (except during the breakfasts). Always a free sunbed and lots of space in the many pools. The beach is a bit rocky, but nice. Be aware of the red flag. There was red lag 3 of our 10 days, and therefore we didn't swim in the sea those days. "

The hotel is really big
" The hotel is really big and has a separate water area for kids which is really awesome. There is also an adults only breakfast facility and an adults pool. The overall impression is very good: everything is clean and being taken care of, waiters.. are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are big and there are a lot of clever ideas (you place the beach towels outside to avoid getting sand into the room etc). "

The hotel was amazing
" The hotel was amazing, everything you need for traveling with small children. The staff was super friendly. The waves at the beach was a bit rough, but if you walk a few minutes to the right you will find a small “lagoon” where the children can play. Not a lot to do in this town with young children, the dinner at the hotel was expensive. I hope to travel to this hotel again "

" Very kid friendly, so as a solo traveler, the adult only pool was a nice option. The service at Taley was slow, but the food was good and staff was friendly. Was priced a bit high for the meal. Breakfast buffet was of good value, and again appreciated an adult only area. Check in and check out process was smooth. Really enjoyed my room and the property "

" We had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, offering stunning sea views and a beautiful beach. It's incredibly kid-friendly with numerous water activities suitable for all ages. The Talay Restaurant serves delicious food, and the breakfast collection is impressive. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway! "

Great for couples AND families
" As returning guests we completely enjoyed our stay as expected. Fantastic swimming pools with swim up bars plus a beautiful beach with great water quality and temperature. The ocean was safe for swimming while we were there but it is dependant on the season. We travelled as a couple but there were loads of families and young children. "

Incredible experience in and Incredible Resort
" An amazing pool and splash park for families to enjoy and lounge around with an extra 2 taller water slides for kids and adults as well as a nicely designed lazy river open at points of the day. The pool is large enough to enjoy with kids, has a cool swim up bar with seats, a seated jet stream area to relax. "

The best vacation for my kid
" There is an amazing pool&aqua zone&kids club. My children really enjoyed it. They would like to stay there more!! On our last day they served Kanomjeen in breakfast it was sooooo gooooood it’s make me feel good before go home. FO staff work quickly both during check in - check out. "

Perfect for young families
" Absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed in a Family pool access room and it was perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great time. The pools are great and even though the beach is not the best in the area, it still is a magnificent view. "

" The resort and all staff were of high caliber, making for a superb stay. The breakfasts and all meals were well presented and very tasty. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and willing to please. The pools were a delight to swim in, and the outdoor massage was a wonderful experience. "

Sensational Sands!
" Booked 14 nights in a Seaside Junior Suite but arrived and no longer has the sea view we had on our last visit so upgraded to the Two-bedroom Sea Suite. What an amazing room and view from our room and balcony! The buffet breakfast was always great with a noodle station and egg station. Only wish they would have a fresh fruit juice station. "

Relaxing time at Sands
" The hotel is amazing. We really enjoyed our time at Sands. Spacious rooms, nice pools, gardens and the food was very good. They were having renovations at the hotel during our stay but we did not feel we missed much. Beach front breakfasts were lovely. "

" Have stayed here on a number of occasions and every time it’s been fantastic. The foods great, staff are great they can’t do enough to help. There’s so much room it never feels crowded. Want an extra clothes airer no problem, more water or towels no problem, nothing is too hard. "

Lovely resort in great location.
" Was a lovely resort in a great location. Construction was happening, so restaurants, bar, one pool and some pathways were closed off, but this didn’t impact our stay significantly. Would be amazing when construction is completed. Loved the beach pool and Coconut Bar. Restaurants in The Little Shore were wonderful too! "

Fabulous first time in Thailand
" What a stunning hotel. We stayed for 11 nights and had the best holiday ever. The Sands is in a great location on the the beach. A walk up the the entrance road and you have khao lak centre with lovely resturants to try. "

" We returned to The Sands for the 7th time. As always, an amazing resort to stay. Has everything you need and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Will we be back? Absolutely. Highly recommend. If you are family based, book a room in the family zone with a swim up pool if you can otherwise any other room in that zone would be great. "

Amazing stay with beautiful hotel
" The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, surrounded by the nature. The pool with facilities was amazing which was the highlight for families with kids. Our kid really enjoyed it here swimming and playing with water slides. All the staffs were helpful and friendly. "

" The family room pool access was pretty great. We liked the separation while sleeping for the kids. The pool and other amenities like kids club, outdoor chess, spa and outdoor, beachside massage were amazing. Great food and restaurants. "
